Over $20,000 Raised. . .

Lakesiders raised over $20,000 for missions at our November “Hands Around the World” dinner and Auction. A special “thank you” to Cathy Tastad and her team of volunteers that made the weekend so wonderfully successful!
Pastor Samuel Sonkamble from Latur, India was present and shared a report of the progress made on the Latur Ministry Center in the last year. We were introduced to the 14 boys in the Anukamp (Compassion) ministry that is part of the ministry center. Much of the money raised will go to support the development of the center and care for the boys.
Also present for the weekend were Dr. Art and Sylvia Brown. Art is the Executive Director of Free Methodist World Missions, and spoke in our gatherings Sunday morning, 15 November.
