Welcome to the Movement!
Free2Walk is a community movement to proclaim that no human being should be for sale.
There are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in human history. From international cities to our own local suburbs, human trafficking has become the fastest growing criminal industry on the globe. Together, on September 18 Lakeside will be joining with others to walk for freedom in Lake Stevens. We are stepping forward to take action against modern-day slavery.
Every footstep we take is an action step against slavery. PLEASE ENGAGE WITH US in the global walk for freedom.
Walkers’ donations will help to support our Not for Sale efforts locally as we work to make sure Snohomish County is slave-free, beginning with Lake Stevens. Additionally, half of the funds raised will support Not for Sale’s Thailand International Project.
Join our local walk!
Engage your friends and family!
We can end slavery in our lifetime!
(NOTE: the registration website states that if you donate $25 or more you receive a FREE t-shirt. If registering AFTER August 14, 2010 a t-shirt is NOT guaranteed.)
