Serve our church

We are so thankful for our amazing volunteers! There are well over one hundred individuals who serve in ministry at Lakeside. Their impact is felt not only in the local church, but in the community, region, and world!

If you are interested in finding a way to get involved, please e-mail the office (contact@lakesidecf.com) about the postings below, or try out the new system we’re testing using Volunteer Spot.  Here’s the first one:

Once a week-
Clean coffee pot (on Sunday, after 2nd gathering every week)
Prepare worship center for Sun (vacuum, p/u trash, chairs) (Thur)
Empty garbage cans throughout the church (Thur)
Clean kitchen (organize and sweep and mop floor) (Thur)
Clean windows (Thur)
Copy Children’s curriculum (Wed or Thur)
Set up classrooms (Thur)
Organize lobby for Sunday (Thur)
Sunday School Teacher (on rotation)

Upkeep of grounds – mowing, weeding, etc.

Once a month-
Clean up communion trays (put clean cups in trays)
Spot clean carpet in Worship Center
Usher (Sunday of your choice)
Greet (Sunday of your choice)

Whether you are drawn to pray or cook or teach or shake a hand… let us know and we will work together!

Serve Our Community and Our World

The Church exists to worship God, reach the lost, and serve others.  At Lakeside we are serious about being contributors, not consumers.  There are many ways in which we serve our community and our world:

We engage in local service projects like city serve and Carefest (http://www.carefestsnoco.org)

We care for the homeless through Tailgate Ministries in Everett.

We reach out to those who need to hear the Good News of Jesus in a variety of ways.

We fight human trafficking in our back yard and around the globe.

We are in partnership with ministries in India and other places.
