Save the dates! Mark Your Calendars and join with multiple churches, hundreds of individuals and partner agencies from our area to serve and share with our community in practical, hands-on ways, in Christ’s name. CAREfest week 2010 kicks off with a blood drive on Saturday April 24, and concludes with the main serving day on Saturday May 1.

WHEN? Saturday, May 1
WHAT? At least 14 local churches and ministry groups in the Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Granite Falls, Monroe and surrounding areas… sharing God’s LOVE through serving our communities. There will be teams at dozens of locations in our region (shelters, food banks, schools, senior centers, city parks, etc.).
WHO? You!
WHY? CAREfest is hands on; anyone can participate (several projects are family-friendly); the need is great… For me, at the end of the day, there is a real sense that I’ve made a difference and that God has been glorified.
HOW? If you have a project idea, please talk to Brenda Froland. If you want to serve on May 1, look for a CAREfest table in the Lobby very soon. There is a project that will inspire you!
